Hannah & Matteo

We are so fond of this wonderful couple that to describe their marriage still fills our hearts with emotion.

Hannah and Matteo chose to get married in Perugia, the city of origin of his family because of the great love that binds them to this city.
We worked more than a year on the organization of this great wedding weekend which included the arrival of 170 guests between America and Italy. The spouses wanted to reunite their families for a few days and have the opportunity to spend quality time and create memories shared over time.

The attention and care they have dedicated to making their guests’ stay pleasant is truly moving and rare and for us it has been an honor to help this couple realize their dream wedding in Italy.
Guests and spouses have stayed several days at the prestigious Hotel Brufani in order to fully enjoy the beauty of the historic center of Perugia.

The civil ceremony took place in a small hall very characteristic of the Municipality of Perugia, with only the spouses present the family unit. The next day a big party was organized at a suggestive castle in Assisi.

The whole group was transferred to the Castle of Petrata where, thanks to the magnificent day of July, the symbolic wedding in the garden was celebrated.

The magnificent Umbrian landscape was the backdrop to the great arch beautifully decorated with sunflowers and hydrangeas (the bride’s favorite flowers).

We worked a lot on the set up of this event starting from a great passion of the spouses: traditional majolica.

The spouses were in fact passionate collectors of traditional decorated ceramics, so the whole decoration used two traditional decorative motifs of the Deruta ceramics.

We have had local artisans produce vases, small plates and small favors (delicious ceramic egg cups) with which we have decorated the very elegant tables.

The palette used only includes the use of colors related to ceramics: blue, oxide green, ocher yellow and siena earth, all the rest white or in crystal to give maximum emphasis to ceramics and you have the bride’s favorite flowers.

After the aperitif and dinner in the garden, the evening moves into the elegant room with stained glass windows for a truly exceptional musical performance.

Our best wishes to this wonderful couple!
