Nabucco Castle is nestled in the greenery of Mount Tezio, not far from Perugia. It has recently undergone renovation works and it was brought back to his original beauty.
The original castle itself dates back to the 12th century and was commissioned by the Holy Roman Emperor, Frederico Barbarossa. The castle is 580 meters above sea level and overlook the surrounding valley.
Today Castle Nabucco is the perfect union between luxury, unique and modern with a rich history that can be seen since the main entrance with the imposing gate and the entryway to the internal courtyard.
Each of the eight bedroom suites has a completely individual style, design and colour. Luxurious fabrics and soft linen are used for the antique, super-king beds. The breathtaking panoramas and the pieces of art collected in Nabucco Castle will make you feel immersed in the unique atmosphere that is enclosed in its walls.
Step back a few centuries to eat in front of the open fireplace at our ancient long table, surrounded by historical artworks. At the Nabucco Castle, you can dine in the ancient, beamed room, or on the open rooftop terrace to enjoy the spectacular view of the Tiber valley far below. Their chef serves delicacies sourced from the very finest local ingredients.
Outside the walls of the castle there is the antique church, decorated with a spectacular fresco of the year 1400, preserved by plaster for 400 years and just discovered by the present owners. Moreover, to fully enojy your stay the Castle is equipped with an outdoor swimming pool, a wellness center and an hammam: all of them completetly immersed in the umbrian countryside.
